Alpha in Schools is a tool that helps you present Jesus to teenagers in your school — especially those who have never experienced faith or feel far from it.
WHAT IS ALPHA IN SCHOOLS?
Is an opportunity for any student in your school to freely explore their questions about life, faith, and Jesus. Schools are places where teens are open to learning and listening. With Alpha, you can create a space where they feel heard, ask life’s big questions, and encounter Jesus in an open and honest way.

One Alpha, two ways
For students
Choose one of the following formats to run Alpha:
You can include the Alpha course in your school’s curriculum. Many institutions have a subject like Religion, Christian Education, Ethics and Values, or a similar name in your context. Alpha can be implemented during this class period, giving all students the chance to participate as part of their academic program.
You can also offer the Alpha course outside the school’s academic plan. Alpha can take place after school hours or during breaks such as lunchtime. In this case, participation is voluntary and not part of the academic schedule.
